About the role

A leading Academic Medical Center in Virginia is expanding its Neurology faculty and seeks Vascular and General Neurohospitalists. The department comprises 70 neurologists across 10 divisions, includes an established Neurology Residency Program, eight fellowship programs (with plans to add more), and is supported by residents, fellows, APPs, and nurses in both hospital and clinic settings. As the state’s largest and most comprehensive healthcare facility, the center is committed to excellent, accessible patient care, leadership in neurology education, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide consult‑only neurohospitalist care on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule with shared, non‑burdensome call from home.
• Teach neurology residents and fellows.
• Support clinical trials and other research opportunities.
• Participate in various development initiatives and contribute to the growth of a potential Neurohospitalist Fellowship Program.
