About the role

Austin Regional Clinic seeks a Learning Coordinator to support the Leadership & Professional Development Manager with session preparation and logistics. The ideal candidate will apply adult learning principles, assist in updating learning content, and facilitate sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates a foundational understanding of adult learning and instructional design principles.
  • Creates, updates, and formats learning content for assigned learner groups.
  • Serves as a point of contact for new leaders, guiding them through the leadership development pathway.
  • Leads in-person and/or virtual activities for new leaders.
  • Coordinates learning initiatives setup and distribution using internal and external platforms.
  • Partners with the Leadership & Professional Development Manager and other team members to coordinate new initiatives, pathways, campaigns, etc.
  • Reviews and cross-references learning content to ensure alignment with the three (3) pillars of Professional and Leadership Development.
  • Collects and organizes feedback, data, and learning observations to identify development needs.
  • Maintains tracking systems and dashboards to monitor learning metrics, participation rates, and other key performance indicators.
  • Identifies opportunities and recommends updates/changes to improve protocols, processes, tracking systems, etc.
  • Adheres to all company policies, including but not limited to, OSHA, HIPAA, compliance and Code of Conduct.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with two (2) or more years of experience in a leadership role and three (3) years of experience in learning and development, enablement specialist, classroom education or training, or in-person facilitator-led learning.
  • Preferred: Experience in the health care industry. Experience hosting virtually-led learning sessions and creating/editing video content.

  • Understands adult learning and instructional principles.
  • Ability to partner effectively with leaders and HR.
  • Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new applications and/or functionality and create learning documentation to support the application.
  • Ability to relate well with all levels; builds appropriate rapport; can use style to gain acceptance of an idea with business partners.
  • Ability to be dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of the organization and department.
  • Ability to perform job duties in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ability to understand, recall, and communicate factual information.
  • Ability to understand, recall, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
  • Ability to synthesize complex thoughts into simple, everyday language.
  • Ability to apply common sense in performing job.

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM
