Job Description

Breakthru Beverage Group is a family-owned company with over $8.5 billion in annual sales and employs over 10,000 associates. The Sales Leadership Development Program is a selective, early career program for recent college graduates or seniors graduating by May 2026. This merit-based sales program, designed to phase out over four years, focuses on developing leadership skills and advancing to roles in sales management, corporate roles, or roles in field marketing or commercial sales analysis with supplier partners.

Responsibilities

  • Phase One: Sales Representative

    • Engage directly with customers in a designated territory.
    • Manage a specific number of accounts with product and sales training.
    • Focus on established selling rather than cold calling.
  • Phase Two: Field Sales Manager

    • Enhance leadership abilities and strategic thinking by managing a team of 4-7 Sales Representatives.
    • Identify effective motivational strategies and utilize various tools to manage your team.
  • Graduation (Various Opportunities)

    • Advance to distributor sales or commercial-related roles, or to a position with a key supplier partner.
    • Example positions include Distributor Business Manager and Distributor Division Sales Manager.

Qualifications

  • Education: Senior college graduate of December 2025/June 2026

  • Experience: Demonstrate leadership capabilities, enthusiasm for sales and sales management, and an interest in the alcoholic beverage industry.

  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong collaboration and teamwork skills, exceptional strategic, creative, and analytical problem-solving abilities, proficient in planning and organizing tasks, strong presentation skills, and the ability to hold a Solicitor's Permit (where applicable).

  • Physical Demands: Regularly extend hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; stand, walk, maintain balance or climb; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; share workspace, commute by car or train, dress in business attire, attend evening meetings; frequently work in the market, which may involve exposure to adverse weather conditions.
