Job Description

Breakthru Beverage Group is a family-owned company with over $8.5 billion in annual sales and employs over 10,000 associates. The Sales Leadership Development Program is a highly selective, early career program designed for recent college graduates or seniors graduating by May 2026. This program seeks individuals with outstanding talent, leadership abilities, and a strong drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Phase One: Sales Representative

    • Engage directly with customers in the market within a designated territory.
    • Receive product and sales training to manage a specific number of accounts.
    • Utilize the business model focused on established selling rather than cold calling.
    • Demonstrate exceptional sales leadership skills and achieve results.
  • Phase Two: Field Sales Manager

    • Enhance leadership abilities and strategic thinking by managing a team of 4-7 Sales Representatives.
    • Identify effective motivational strategies and utilize various tools to manage your team.
    • Achie success through your team and nurture future talent.

  • Graduation (Various Opportunities and Paths)

    • Advancement to the next level in a distributor sales or commercial related role, or to a position with a key supplier partner.
    • Example positions include Distributor Business Manager and Distributor Division Sales Manager.

Qualifications

  • Senior College Graduate

    • December 2025/June 2026 graduation date.
    • Outstanding leadership capabilities, enthusiasm for sales and sales management.
    • An interest in the alcoholic beverage industry.

  • Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
    • Exceptional strategic, creative, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
    • Proficient in identifying issues, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.
    • Experience in planning and organizing tasks through effective project management.
    • Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings.
    • Presentation skills with a proven ability to present information effectively to management groups.

  • Physical Demands

    • Regularly extends hands and arms, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls.
    • Frequently stands, walks, maintains balance, or climbs.
    • Lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds and frequently lifts and/or moves up to 10 pounds.
    • Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions & Environment

  • The role requires the ability to share workspace, commute by car or train, dress in business attire, attend evening meetings.
  • Frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions during market visits.
