About the role

The Senior Leader Wellbeing will provide leadership and support to ensure the wellbeing of students, staff, and the broader school community. This role will work closely with the Principal to develop and implement strategies that promote mental health and resilience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement wellbeing programs and initiatives aligned with school goals and policies.
• Provide professional development opportunities for staff on topics related to student and staff wellbeing.
• Conduct regular wellbeing audits and assessments to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate wellbeing practices across the school.
• Support the creation and maintenance of a positive school culture focused on student and staff wellbeing.

Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading and implementing wellbeing programs in a school setting.
• Experience in managing and supporting staff and students through challenging situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including teachers, parents, and external agencies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Experience working with diverse student populations.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies regarding student and staff wellbeing.
