Lead, Warehouse

Responsibilities

• Oversight and participation in shipping, receiving, storing, and ordering of Pharmacy Medications, supplies, and inventory.
• Maintain receiving and inventory control records and prepare related reports.
• Serve as a lead over one or more assigned Shipping Clerks.
• Train and provide lead work direction and guidance to assigned staff.
• Enter shipping destination into carriers' program and affix bar code to shipping container.
• Maintain adequate supply of shipping containers and supplies.
• Print daily shipping log for all carriers.
• Responsible for receiving all shipments.
• Documentation of packing slip or invoice.
• Responsible for counting pieces being received.
• Maintain inventory and rotation of inventory.
• Maintain warehouse and shipping areas.
• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, hand truck, and other equipment utilized in the warehouse.
• Utilize space efficiently and effectively.
• Take inventory and maintain accurate control systems.
• Operate a computer and assigned software.
• Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Assign and review the work of others.
• Assist with training and motivational requirements for Lead and other Clerks.
• Maintain records and prepare reports related to assigned activities.
• Oversee daily operations of the Warehouse area by ensuring compliance with operational policies and procedures in regards to ACHC, OSHA, and FDCA.
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment.
