Lead Treatment Specialist

Role Overview

Assist the Unit Manager in supervising and training Youth Care Workers within a residential setting, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, safety, and resident well-being. Support behavior management using Trauma-Informed Care principles, coordinate activities, medication procedures, incident reporting, and crisis interventions. Facilitate team cohesion, staff evaluations, and training, fostering a positive, caring environment. Work directly with residents to develop skills, implement treatment plans, and participate in evaluations and discharge planning.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, special education, or related field with relevant experience, or four years of institutional child care experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of licensing regulations and trauma-informed care practices is essential.
