Key Responsibilities
- Act as the responsible engineer and primary client point of contact for transmission and power delivery projects.
- Lead overhead transmission line engineering, routing, and design efforts.
- Prepare, review, and seal engineering calculations, reports, and construction documents.
- Support business development activities and expand relationships with existing and new utility clients.
- Perform transmission line structure analysis and foundation design.
- Develop engineering specifications, design criteria, and technical documentation.
- Lead project planning, cost estimating, proposal development, and QA/QC reviews.
- Cook up with internal teams, stakeholders, and field personnel to ensure project success.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Travel to project and client sites as required.
Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- 8+ years of transmission line or related civil/structural engineering experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Strong experience with PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, MFAD, and L-Pile.
- Experience with PLS-TOWER is a plus.
- Proven background in QA/QC, client-facing project leadership, and overhead transmission line design.
Pay
Competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $180,000 USD annually.
