About This Role

This Lead toddler/2s teacher opportunity at Kids' World/St Mark UMC serves Infant / Toddler (0–2) and requires no formal credential — just relevant experience. Based in Greenwood, SC, candidates bring experience in early childhood education and development.

What You'll Do

• We are looking for a dedicated professional to teach and care for our toddler/2 year olds, providing hands-on education and fostering a sense of community.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for lesson planning, classroom management, and building strong relationships with parents and colleagues.
• Key responsibilities will include implementing engaging activities, such as singing, dancing, and storytelling, to promote cognitive and social development.
• The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a safe, organized, and clean classroom environment, while also providing individualized care and attention to each child.
• We are seeking someone who can adapt to changing situations, think on their feet, and prioritize the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of each child.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, squat, lift, stand the majority of the day.
• Must be available between 7a-6p.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have high school diploma.
• Must pass a background check and drug-screening.

Nice to Have

• ECD 101 or other formal early childhood training would be an asset in this role, providing a strong foundation for our Lead Teacher.

Benefits

• Pay: $13 to $15/Hr.
• Status: Full Time.
