What You Will Do in This Role
- Provide Psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
- Treatments include group, individual, and family therapy.
- Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Communicate actively with clients, families, and outside referral sources, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 guidelines.
- Demonstrate proactive communication with those involved in the patient’s treatment, documenting all correspondence.
- Show heavy involvement in treatment planning for patients.
- Work with patients to achieve treatment plan goals and document progress.
- Demonstrate initiative to revise the treatment plan to create new goals for patients if necessary.
- Ongoing and consistent collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff members.
- Show active communication with team members.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant licensure in state of practice.
- Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements.
- CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
- Prior work experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
Salary Range
Salary range: $34.77 - 46.93 per hour. We would expect those hired into this job to be paid within this hourly rate, however, certain circumstances may allow us to pay outside of this hourly rate.
