Lead the Team RN Medical Administrator

About the role

This position serves as the RN Medical Team Administrator at the Boone County Jail. You will lead a dedicated team, drive quality patient care, and enjoy a predictable weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care plans
• Provide clinical guidance and mentorship to the medical team
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and accreditation requirements
• Manage inventory and supplies to support the medical team
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• Current RN license in good standing
• At least 5 years of progressive nursing experience
• Experience in correctional healthcare or similar settings preferred
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually.
