Lead Teller

About the role
As a Lead Teller within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will coach, mentor, and lead tellers by example to deliver a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet.
Responsibilities
- Process a variety of customer interactions and educate customers on alternatives available for their financial needs.
- Identify banking opportunities during customer interactions and make appropriate referrals.
- Perform lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products to meet their needs.
- Educate customers on options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
- Demonstrate clear communication skills, transaction handling, and problem resolution processes.
- Assist the Branch Manager in performance management and new hire selection processes.
- Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
- Oversee teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications
- Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
- No university/college degree required; a high school diploma or GED is acceptable.
- In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Pay
Base Salary: $41,250.00 – $68,750.00. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
