Lead Technologist, Diagnostic Imaging

Purpose & Scope

Maintains quality control for the Radiology Department and supervises technical and support staff. This position requires initiative and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to the Senior Technical Manager for certain functions.
  • Delegates certain functions on occasion.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in radiography is required or Graduate of an accredited certificate program for radiography is required.
  • Two years of diagnostic imaging experience is required.
  • One year of supervisory experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • BLS certification required.
