Lead Technician-Dallas
Security 101 – Dallas is seeking a Lead Commercial Security Technician with experience installing and programming commercial electronic security devices, including CCTV, access control, IP cameras, intrusion detection, video analytics, and IP network systems.
Pay
Hourly wage ranges from $35.00 to $40.00, non-exempt, based on skills, product knowledge, and experience.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years’ experience installing, servicing, and programming commercial access control, IP-based video systems, and intrusion alarm systems
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a project lead responsible for complete project supervision
- Process-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to support customer systems via remote diagnostics professionally
- Knowledge and practical experience with the internet and networking
- Ability to work independently and resolve customer issues to their satisfaction
- Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
- High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
- Electronics training from a technical school or military training in electronics/communications (preferred)
- Must pass a background investigation and drug-test screening
- Must be able to work in office and outdoor environments, climb ladders, use a forklift, and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
Skills
Proficiency or certification in one or more of the following is a plus:
- Access Control: Prowatch, Genetec, Software House, Lenel/S2
- Video: Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha
- Intrusion: DMP, Honeywell
Responsibilities
- Install, terminate, configure, and test enterprise security systems with minimal supervision
- Lead a team on project installations
- Manage quality control and provide exceptional customer service
- Take responsibility for and track project progress
- Demonstrate system knowledge of CCTV, access control, IP cameras, intrusion detection, video analytics, IP network systems, and visitor management
