Lead Technical Writing Specialist

About the role

The Lead Technical Writing Specialist provides support to both the sales team and distributor network by delivering quoting support for new and existing products, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive pricing. This role manages and maintains department specifications and pricing documentation, creates specs and cost structures for new business opportunities, and supports vendor relationship management to inform pricing strategies and ensure cost alignment. Additionally, the specialist provides ongoing support to Regional Managers within their territories, focusing on quote generation, updates, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer and sales technical support for new or existing product quotes.
• Work closely with regional sales managers to achieve Product Management goals and support key accounts.
• Prepare accurate and timely customer quotes based on specifications, requirements, and pricing guidelines.
• Meet defined turnaround times for quote delivery.
• Prioritize urgent or high-value quotes.
• Balance speed with accuracy to maintain customer satisfaction.
