As part of a fast-growing product team within Consumer & Community Banking Core Engineering Solutions, you will promote and enhance the engineer experience across the entire Consumer & Community Banking organization. You will develop innovative solutions while managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams, ensuring technology initiatives align with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects and programs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project or program outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle.
- Build relationships with customers to understand challenges and develop solutions, driving satisfaction with a customer-first mentality.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis (e.g., consolidating inputs into integrated plans, RAID, and executive-ready updates), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
- Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
- Proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
- Strong experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision-makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve.
- Technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies.
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to serve as the go-to subject matter expert for your domain, presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes, and value-added activities.
- Keen attention to detail, strong organization skills, and thorough follow-up.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
