As a Lead Technical Program Manager within Consumer & Community Banking Core Engineering Solutions, you will be part of a fast-growing product team responsible for promoting and enhancing the engineer experience across the entire Consumer & Community Banking organization.
You will develop innovative solutions while managing resources, budgets, and high-performing teams. Your strong analytical reasoning and adaptability will help navigate ambiguity and change, ensuring technology initiatives align with business objectives. Through advanced communication and stakeholder management, you will build productive relationships and influence key decisions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. As a subject matter expert, you will shape operational plans and risk management strategies, upholding the highest standards of quality and professionalism in service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, incorporating technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology projects and programs.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize impact on project or program outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Utilize technical fluency to evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and vendor products for project implementation.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and schedules as needed, and providing regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project or program lifecycle.
- Build relationships with customers to understand challenges and develop solutions to resolve them, driving satisfaction and holding a customer-first mentality.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning and risk synthesis (e.g., consolidating inputs into integrated plans, RAID, and executive-ready updates), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
- Utilize advanced analytical reasoning to assess program performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimizations to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Promote reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in a large organization.
- Proficiency in applying analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques to break down business, technical, or operational objectives into manageable tasks and activities.
- Strong experience leading through the project lifecycle management, including influencing decision-makers and adapting to changes as business needs evolve.
- Strong technical fluency, with familiarity in current and relevant platforms, software tools, and technologies.
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management, with a track record of establishing productive working relationships and driving mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to serve as the go-to person for your domain, assuming a highly visible role within the company as the subject matter expert presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Self-motivated, innovative thinker with the ability to derive, formulate, and develop new concepts, processes, and value-added activities.
- Keen attention to detail, strong organization skills, and thorough follow-up.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
