Lead Systems Application Engineer
Serving Customers
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary interface for customers, delivering exceptional experiences and building long-term relationships.
Project Management
Lead and manage customer-facing Demand Response deployment projects, ensuring successful implementation and measurable impact on energy usage and grid stability.
Collaboration
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Eaton Support, and Deployment Teams to deliver integrated, sustainable solutions.
Team Leadership
Act as a connector across the organization, aligning teams and driving outcomes that support both customer success and grid modernization.
Technical Expertise
Identify and resolve technical challenges throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of utility experience
- Experience working directly with customers, including ownership or support of key customer accounts
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience running a demand response program
- Experience with Radio Frequency and Cellular Communications Systems
- Experience with Communications Hardware, Firmware, and Enterprise Software systems
- A solid networking knowledge of computer communications including TCP/IP, SSH, and other protocols
Position Success Criteria
- Mentor project team members with less experience to improve their abilities and performance.
- Perform light lifting of 40 lbs. or less.
- Knowledge of front-end scheduling, engineering, and manufacturing process and lead times.
