Lead Swim Instructors and Aides

Join our team at the Evelyn Kirrane Aquatics Center in Brookline, a beautiful facility featuring three pools and space for athletics, health, wellness, and camp activities for the public. Our center includes a six-lane, 25-yard lap pool, a shallow water (3–4 feet deep) lesson pool, and a 12-foot deep diving well with two 1-meter diving boards.

About the roles

• Lead Swim Instructors teach progressive-level group swim lessons. Requires a current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification (preferred) and/or relevant teaching experience. Minimum age: 16.
• Swim Instructor Aides assist with lessons and must have prior competitive swimming experience and experience working with children. American Red Cross Lifeguard Training (or equivalent) certification is preferred. Minimum age: 15.

Pay

• Lead Swim Instructors: $19/hour
• Swim Instructor Aides: $17/hour

Schedule

Several shifts available, including weekends. Positions are filled on an ongoing basis.
