Lead Swim Instructor

Engagement

Engage with children/swimmers while smiling, singing, and having fun while teaching lessons.

Learn and teach swimming techniques with an emphasis on survival skills.

Teach these techniques to all new swim instructors that join our program.

Observe classes and perform coaching reports to ensure proper safety protocols and swim techniques are being followed to British Swim School brand standards.

Contribute in monthly in-service meetings and ongoing training for the instructor team.

Speak to parents/customers about their children’s progress.

Work with the Aquatics director to improve the program and monitor student progress.

Requirements

• Current lifeguard certification preferred but can be discussed to complete.
• Outgoing, contagious personality.
• Able to learn and follow franchise brand standards and guidelines.
• Reliable transportation to commute to the pools in our area.
• Willing to work during weekday afternoons and weekends.

Pay & Schedule

Monday to Friday: 2:45pm - 8:00pm
Saturday: 9:45am - 4:00pm

It's helpful if you have experience with children or in a child-focused job, but it's not required if you can show the right attitude.

In these roles, you might talk to parents on the phone or by the pool.
