About the role

As a Software Developer, you’ll work across multiple domains, leverage cutting-edge AI technology, and explore new tools and coding languages in a hybrid environment (2 days onsite, 3 days remote per week) based in Las Colinas or Arlington, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize C# and Microsoft Azure Cloud throughout our technology stack.
  • Partner with team members to enhance software skills, system understanding, and design thinking to build high-performing teams.
  • Embed in or collaborate across teams to achieve business objectives using intentional architecture.
  • Influence and work with other towers, shared services, and external vendors to deliver business results.
  • Research and champion new tools and approaches that benefit the organization.
  • Understand cloud technologies and assist team members to accelerate implementation.
  • Champion Agile and DevOps to continuously improve product quality, time to market, and team member satisfaction.
  • Invest in automated testing and pipelines to enable frequent deployments (multiple times per sprint).
  • Maintain a production-first mindset focused on scale, uptime, and rapid triage/resolution of production issues.
  • Promote modern software development patterns and practices that emphasize simplicity, understanding, reuse, and security.
  • Partner with product management and solutions architects to maintain a technical backlog for the agile team.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on core systems, guiding other team members in maintenance and support.

Requirements

  • Software development expertise in one or more high-level programming languages, with the ability to transition seamlessly between products.
  • Expertise in optimizing data architecture, database queries, and indexes to deliver scalable, high-performance products and services.
  • Proficiency in designing, building, and optimizing automated pipelines with integrated testing and security controls.
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with a track record of driving improvements (speed, efficiency, team morale).
  • Ability to implement features across mobile, web, and API service layers as applicable to the product team.
  • Lead by example and inspire passion and enthusiasm within the team.
  • Champion and execute strategies that deliver measurable business value across teams.
  • Demonstrate mastery of software languages, architecture, and design; recognized as an expert by peers.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of software development experience required.
  • 2–4 years of experience leading multi-developer projects required.
  • 2–4 years as a lead and/or subject matter expert preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field preferred; commensurate experience may substitute.
