About the role

Soccer Stars is seeking an experienced, dependable, and motivated coach to lead our Saturday youth soccer program in Garden City. This is more than a coaching position—it's an opportunity to mentor fellow coaches, oversee one of our largest weekly programs, and help ensure every player receives a positive, high-quality soccer experience. Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Saturday programming from 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
  • Support and mentor coaches throughout the day
  • Ensure coaches are prepared and delivering the weekly curriculum
  • Maintain a positive, organized, and professional environment
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for coaches and families and club board members
  • Communicate with Soccer Stars leadership regarding staffing, coaching quality, and program operations
  • Help maintain the high coaching standards Soccer Stars is known for

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of soccer coaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of player development and age-appropriate coaching
  • Positive leadership and communication skills
  • Comfortable mentoring and providing feedback to coaches
  • Organized, dependable, and professional
  • Reliable transportation
  • Available every Saturday during the Fall season

Qualifications

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience leading or supervising coaches
  • US Soccer, United Soccer Coaches, UEFA, or similar coaching license
  • Experience with youth club or academy soccer
  • CPR, First Aid, or SafeSport certification
