Responsibilities
- Lead, coordinate, and support daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals are achieved.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and direction to production team members.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and supervisors, escalating issues and concerns as needed.
- Support training and cross-training efforts to maintain workforce flexibility and capability.
- Facilitate effective communication regarding production goals, priorities, and operational updates.
- Monitor production schedules and work assignments to ensure production targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Conduct quality audits, inspections, and in-process testing to verify product conformance.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot production, equipment, and process-related issues to minimize downtime.
- Work collaboratively with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, and other departments to resolve operational challenges.
- Complete and maintain accurate production documentation, including Device History Records (DHRs).
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in Kaizens, problem-solving workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a Zero Harm culture by following safety procedures and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Report hazards, near misses, incidents, and quality concerns promptly and appropriately.
- Maintain department organization, cleanliness, and adherence to workplace standards.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Experience with quality control, production processes, and manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP is preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety requirements and regulatory compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Qualifications
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds; team lifting or lifting equipment required for items over 40 pounds.
- Occasional lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds with assistance or proper lifting equipment.
- Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull materials and equipment.
- Perform repetitive hand and finger movements requiring manual dexterity.
- Close visual acuity to inspect products and read work instructions.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environments with moderate to high noise levels while utilizing appropriate PPE.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The salary range for this position is $56,000 - $70,000. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. Schedule
Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, plus two assigned weekdays. The weekday schedule will be either Monday/Tuesday (1st or 2nd Shift) or Thursday/Friday (1st Shift), based on business needs and candidate alignment. The assigned schedule will be determined at hire and will remain consistent.
