Lead Services Specialist - Digital Business Operations

About the Role

Contribute to the Software Services Operations by working closely with portfolio leaders and resource managers for operations analysis, planning, and execution. Ensure consistent, efficient, and effective delivery of operational services in line with global standards to support business objectives. Provide guidance on compliance, continuous development of people and processes, and effective management of budget and resources.

Responsibilities

• Resolve specification issues, handle correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/coordinate with staff.
• Propose solutions outside of set parameters to address complex project management processes.
• Identify opportunities for business improvements and trends; recommend strategies in discussion with management.
• Analyze key performance indicators to ensure adherence to target levels and budget; recognize process variations and adjust accordingly.
• Take appropriate action on resource planning with portfolio leaders and resource managers.
• Ensure processes are identified and developed to accurately reflect business goals and objectives.
• Use technical experience and analytical thinking to proactively make or recommend decisions based on in-depth analysis, leveraging multiple internal and limited external sources.
• Apply data visualizations to support findings.
• Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
• Deliver training to support teams using these systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Project Management, or related field.
• Six (6) years of experience in project management, project planning, or a combination thereof within the software industry.
• Six (6) years of experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Six (6) years of experience with advanced schedule performance metrics, including earned value, schedule performance index, and cost performance index.
• Experience using Tableau and Power BI for data analytics and data mining, along with Excel pivot tables and Pareto data to identify trends.
• Key performance indicator analysis using L3 Bowler, Excel KPI, and Tableau defect reports.
• Experience with Lean methodology (including fish-bone, 5-Why’s, or cause-and-effect) for problem solving.
• Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
