About the role

The Security Officer Lead provides direct operational leadership for site level Security Operations and performs all duties of a Senior Security Officer with expanded leadership responsibilities. This role assigns and coordinates daily work, leads responses to major incidents, ensures adherence to policies and procedures, and serves as the onsite leader when multiple officers are present. Lead Officers act as a critical communication link between Security Leadership and frontline staff, reinforcing expectations, operational priorities, and professional standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma AND At least two (2) years of experience working in HealthPartners Security OR A two-year degree in a relevant field, OR a relevant certification, OR equivalent experience in healthcare security, public safety, or emergency response.
Licensure / Registration / Certification: Valid, unrestricted driver’s license IAHSS Advanced Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire)

Qualifications

Experience supervising or coordinating teams
Experience in training program delivery
Knowledge of Joint Commission and Environmental of Care Standards

Pay

FTE 1.0, 40 hours per week, 12 hour shifts (1800 to 0600) rotating two week schedule. 80.5 hours every two weeks & every other weekend.
