About the role
The Lead Sales Manager- Software & Controls Solutions is responsible for leading customer relationships for the Gas and Steam Power Services portfolio in the assigned region / territory. They will manage the customer relationship for their accounts in their respective region / territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop long-term strategic plans by customer to drive market/customer penetration in support of Orders, Sales, Cash and Contribution Margin growth.
- Maintain ongoing customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Drive a sales pipeline on complex, multi-offering transactions that may include Parts, Lifecare Services, Turbine / Generator Upgrades, Digital Solutions and Long Term Service / Parts Agreements.
- Develop and maintain key Account Plans with detailed insights focused on Customer’s Strategy, Customer ESG Policies, Organizational Structures, Buying Behaviors, Outage and Opportunity Forecasts.
- Continuously monitor and drive the development of the opportunity pipeline for regional opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university OR (High School Diploma/GED and 3-5 years of experience in the Power Generation Industry)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Project Management or Customer Service in the Power Generation industry
Qualifications
- Desired Characteristics: Located on the east coast or south regions of the US for territorial travel purposes. Experience working with, and knowledge of, Gas, and Steam Turbine / Generator technology products and services.
- Provide leadership through the formulation and execution of proposal strategies that capitalize on GE's competitive strengths to serve the customer's needs while meeting GE’s business goals.
- Support the maintenance of accurate and current project and opportunity information in Sales Force.

Pay
The pay range for this position is between $92,800.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
