Description
Safety Lead will provide assistance to the Dallas-Fort Worth DC EHS Manager. Strives to maintain a Culture of Zero through administration and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a healthy and safe work environment. Supports facility with compliance and upkeep of Federal OSHA, state, and local authorities and company-wide safety initiatives.
Qualifications And Experience Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent, is required.
- Bachelor’s or associate degree or equivalent is a plus.
- Certified in OSHA 10 or 30 General Industry is a plus.
- Certified in First Responder – First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogen is a plus.
- Must have good work and attendance record.
- (No active written discipline on file)
- Basic P.C. skills including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required.
- Able to function and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced operating environment is critical.
- Able to interface and communicate effectively within the organization, including public speaking.
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to a changing business environment.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions explicitly.
- Familiar with warehouse operation’s processes and procedures.
- Able to handle stress caused to meet deadlines with tight scheduling requirements.
- Able to work well with others.
- Able to have responsible work habits.
