Lead Respiratory Care Practitioner
About the Role
Sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment to be used in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and/or illness. May work with adult, pediatric and neonatal patient populations. Acts as a resource person for other employees. May train or communicate instructions to other employees, perform minor scheduling, and inspect work to separate acceptable work from unacceptable. Serves as a contact person in the absence of a supervisor or director. Does not hire, fire, discipline, promote, demote, transfer, or appraise performance.
Required Qualifications
- Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State.
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of hospital based work experience in the field of Respiratory Care.
Pay & Benefits
Pay Range: $44.03 - $67.61 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
