Lead Remodeler Carpenter
About the role
You will serve as a key field leader, taking complete ownership of high-quality residential remodeling projects from start to finish. This role gives you the independence to manage job sites while applying your craftsmanship in a company with over 30 years of industry experience. You will work directly with clients and trade contractors to bring custom living spaces to life with exceptional quality.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential remodeling projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and to strict quality standards.
- Execute precise rough and finish carpentry skills across various residential job sites.
- Coordinate daily job site operations, directing team members and trade contractors effectively.
- Solve complex structural or layout challenges directly on site to maintain project momentum.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with homeowners to address inquiries and ensure total satisfaction.
- Enforce quality control measures and ensure all work strictly complies with applicable building codes.
- Keep working environments clean, organized, and safe for all team members and clients.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in rough and finish carpentry within residential remodeling construction.
- Broad technical knowledge of residential trades, including framing, drywall, painting, flooring, windows, doors, and siding.
- Working knowledge of basic residential HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read building plans, troubleshoot issues, and manage job sites independently.
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to client interactions.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle (van or truck), and complete set of basic carpentry tools.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Current Lead-Safe Certification.
- Prior experience supervising employees or sub-contractors on residential worksites.
- CRM Experience (Job Tread or Co-construct or Builder Trend).
Pay
Competitive hourly pay between $40 and $45 per hour based on experience, plus annual bonus opportunities.
