Lead Relief Operator

Duties

• Strictly follow all safety protocols and participate in required safety programs
• Utilize all employee safety programs to ensure proper procedures are followed
• Provide direction and priorities for production/warehouse tasks during shift
• Create a positive and constructive work environment
• Work as part of a team and independently
• Continually check on production/warehouse tasks during shift

• Continually check on production to ensure smooth operation
• Be subject matter expert for equipment and processes
• Provide support to the production floor
• Complete production batch records in the ERP system
• Review equipment PMs and WO tracking
• Oversee training of new operators
• Maintain warehouse and production areas in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform routine and non-routing cleaning inside and outside the facility
• Able to accurately report data and maintain records
• Cover operator responsibilities during vacation and known absences
• Staging of required raw materials and packaging materials
• Able to operate fork truck and floor scrubber
• Able to accurately report data and maintain records

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Food product packaging and/or blending experience
• Preferred: Shipping and/or receiving experience
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and trouble-shooting skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize work
• Computer proficiency
• Solid understanding of basic math and science
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented and safety minded
