About the Role

Seeking a Lead Radiology Tech who provides positive technical leadership in relation to radiology procedures in an ambulatory setting. You will be responsible for the knowledge and performance of all diagnostic procedures, including x-rays, fluoroscopy, C-Arms, OR procedures, and portables.

Responsibilities

• Perform all diagnostic procedures, including x-rays, fluoroscopy, C-Arms, OR procedures, and portables.
• Confirm that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray.
• Communicate information about your patient’s status to other persons responsible for your patient’s care.
• Maintain instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited radiology school.
• 3-5 years of experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Current radiology license (please list on your application).
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (online certification not acceptable).

About the Facility

Mt. Olympus Surgery Center was established in 1991 and is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our center is a fully licensed, JCAHO-accredited, freestanding surgical facility performing over 400 cases a month. Services include orthopedics, general surgery, ENT, colon & rectal surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, podiatry, radiology oncology, and urology.
