The Enterprise Program & Risk Management department (L582) consists of thought leaders and subject matter experts proficient in program and risk management skills, including leading people, project communications, scope management using Agile, establishing program metrics, and developing schedules. The department supports a wide range of MITRE portfolios with approximately 50 highly qualified staff.

Responsibilities

  • Project coordination for MITRE projects
  • Implementation and maintenance of project schedules
  • Implementation and maintenance of project risk register(s)
  • Research associated with specific project requirements
  • Handling of project logistics, including meeting management and facilitation
  • Project communications and reporting (includes generation of periodic reports)
  • Management of project artifacts
  • Application of artificial intelligence (AI) approaches to project management

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years of related experience
  • Basic knowledge of project, program, and risk management (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification)
  • Experience in the application of AI tools
  • Specific experience in one or more project management domains (e.g., risk management, change control, schedule management, project reporting, quality management)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
  • This position requires a minimum of 50% hybrid on-site work

  • Specific project management experience
  • PMBOK Knowledge
  • Task leadership or other supervisory experience

Pay

Salary compensation range: $138,800 - $173,500 - $208,200 (annual)

Hybrid work location (minimum 50% on-site)
