About the role
As a Project Manager Specialist, you will plan and execute contracts from the transfer meeting through managing Quality, Cost, and Delivery of the entire execution process. You will ensure on-time delivery according to contractual terms, high customer satisfaction, and control and improve Gross Margin and cash related to contracts.
Responsibilities
- Assume ownership of orders at order transfer by Sales after review.
- Define action plans to resolve outstanding issues at order transfer.
- Report gross margin of orders booked.
- Ensure contract delivery and performance complies with technical specifications, scope, and delivery timelines to meet customer satisfaction and business objectives (gross margin, revenue recognition, and cash).
- Perform project reviews and manage risks and opportunities in line with business guidelines.
- Monitor the budget and identify opportunities for raising claims if the customer deviates from contract terms.
- Manage receivables, including customer invoicing aligned with contractual milestones and cash-in improvement.
- Follow up and reduce overdues in line with business objectives.
- Coordinate Erection & Commissioning (E&C) by providing forecasts for resource planning and invoicing E&C services.
- Address customer responses on priority to ensure satisfaction and confidence in the organization.
- Coordinate with customer care to resolve warranty issues promptly.
- Facilitate resolution of disputes (delays, cancellations, scope changes).
- Ensure adequate planning and productive time for customers during Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) visits.
Key performance metrics include:
- Time taken for order acknowledgment and engineering (measured from order transfer date).
- Customer on-time delivery (A1).
- Margin slippage (%).
- Respect of 8-week manufacturing freeze period.
- Claims accepted by customer (as % of sales).
- On-time invoicing.
- Overdues (as % of receivables).
- FAT completion (%).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Engineering or Business (or High School Diploma equivalent with 3 years of project management experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management.

Pay
The pay range for this U.S.-based position is $87,000.00 to $145,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas. Pay may be influenced by candidate experience, education, and skill set. Bonus eligibility includes a discretionary annual bonus.
