About the role
The Lead Product Manager will oversee the delivery of the Digital Learning Infrastructure programme, contributing to the PSD Scotland Technology Service's efforts to support the Scottish Government Digital Health and Care Strategy and Data Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive innovation in digital services for health and care professionals and the general public.
- Lead the development of digital products or services in complex environments, ideally at scale.
- Set product direction and develop long-term product roadmaps aligned with organisational strategy.
- Use data and insights to shape prioritization, evaluate performance, and inform strategic decisions.
- Conduct or oversee discovery, research, and analysis in complex service environments.
- Plan and deliver work across multiple streams, including risk, issue, and dependency management.
- Manage senior practitioners and/or managers within multidisciplinary digital teams.
- Support or mentor product managers.
Requirements
- Significant experience leading digital products or services in complex environments, ideally at scale.
- Strong experience using data and insights to shape prioritization, evaluate performance, and inform strategic decisions.
- Experience conducting or overseeing discovery, research, and analysis in complex service environments.
- Significant experience managing senior practitioners and/or managers within multidisciplinary digital teams.
- Ability to work on own initiative, organize and prioritize own workloads, meet strict deadlines.
Qualifications
