About the role

We’re searching for a Lead Product Insights Analyst to join our Product Operations team and play a pivotal role at the intersection of product strategy, data, and business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end product analytics by defining metrics, designing measurement frameworks, and delivering actionable insights that inform product strategy and business decisions.
  • Analyze user behavior and product performance to identify adoption trends, engagement drivers, retention opportunities, friction points, and areas for product improvement.
  • Partner with Product Management, UX, and Engineering teams to establish success metrics, embed instrumentation requirements into feature development, and measure outcomes after launch.
  • Develop and maintain self-service analytics solutions including dashboards, reporting, and KPI frameworks that provide real-time visibility into product health and business performance.
  • Translate product data into strategic recommendations by combining usage insights, market intelligence, competitive trends, and customer research to influence roadmap priorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to connect product outcomes with business results, partnering with Go-to-Market, Commercial Analytics, and Data Engineering teams to link product usage, customer value, retention, and revenue impact.
  • Communicate complex findings to diverse audiences by synthesizing data from multiple sources, proactively identifying emerging risks and opportunities, and delivering clear recommendations to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

Your experience may include:

  • 10+ years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or a closely related data role – ideally in a B2B SaaS environment with exposure to complex, multi-product platforms.
  • Expert-level SQL skills; proficiency with a BI visualization tool (Tableau strongly preferred) and the ability to build production-grade dashboards stakeholders actually use; strong Excel skills for ad-hoc modeling and fast-turn analyses.
  • Hands-on experience with a product analytics platform (Pendo strongly preferred).
  • Strong grounding in statistical analysis and data interpretation – you can size a problem, identify the right methodology, and communicate findings with appropriate rigor.
  • Familiarity with a modern cloud data warehouse (GCP/BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar) and a working level of AI literacy – you use AI tools to work faster and smarter, not just as a novelty.
  • Ability to synthesize competitive and market data alongside internal product data – you know how to bring external context into product strategy conversations, not just report internal metrics.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: you can scope an ill-defined problem, identify the right analytical approach, and deliver a clear answer under deadline.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and other database management systems.
  • Experience with a product analytics platform like Pendo.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
  • Knowledge of modern cloud data warehouses and AI tools.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
