Lead Pharmacy Advocate Technician

Location: Middleburg, FL | Facility: Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital | Department: Inpatient Pharmacy | Schedule: Rotating shift | Full-time

Responsibilities

• Serve as the department's Buying Specialist, managing purchases and inventory to ensure continuous availability of essential pharmacy supplies.
• Lead assigned staff in providing excellent patient care through optimized pharmacy services.
• Coordinate daily shift operations to ensure efficient deployment of resources and associates.
• Monitor team performance and report compliance to maintain high standards and reduce risk.
• Drive continuous improvement by participating in departmental problem-solving and specialty projects that enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Licensure/Certification/Registration: One or more of the following required prior to hire or transfer date:
  • Registered Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Florida Board of Pharmacy
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
