Duties
- Supports the Main Hospital OSF Saint Katharine Medical Center with on-call duties and coverage at times for Outpatient & ED Registration (ED Registration runs 24/7).
- Works collaboratively with other PAS Leads in the Dixon region to coordinate coverage and support the PAS department as a whole.
Qualifications
- Education: High School/GED or equivalent
- Experience: 1 year experience in a healthcare or public health setting with one of the following: patient registration, patient scheduling, insurance benefits, financial assistance programs, or other community based background.
- Experience: 1 year experience with customer service/relations.
- Skills/Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail-oriented.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Healthcare related field
- Experience: Advanced knowledge of CPT4, ICD9/10, HCPCS, and modifiers; knowledge of medical terminology.
- Licensure/Certifications: HFMA CRCR certification
Pay
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. The expected pay range for this position is $23.35 - $27.48/hour.
