Lead Packer

Job Description

Responsibility and authority to stop production to correct quality problems.

Perform quality testing and make corrections for out-of-spec conditions.

Inspection of finished goods that include checks for part weight, thickness, dimensions per PackCat.

Documentation of first and last piece inspections.

Print and apply FG labels to packed part containers.

To assist in coordinating the work of production helpers and ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner and all safety rules as followed.

Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladder.

Report production data on daily production log sheet and turn into shift supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Experience in related quality functions to include inspection/ measurement of product
• Maintain mathematical skills, basic quality knowledge, basic computer skills, basic print reading, communication and problem solving skills
• Team player
