Lead Packer
Job Description
Directs and coordinates daily tasks for approximately 35+ employees to include but not limited to packers, trainers, reliefs, etc. Coordinates and assists with break relief as necessary. Completes daily attendance reports. Complete and direct personnel to complete set-up standard work during changeovers. Assists in the training of all new packers and temps. Routinely performs SWIS and QC audits. Complete all paperwork pertaining to the job, completely and accurately. Enter all production downtime into SAP. Adheres to all safety rules and requirements of the department and ensures that all rules are followed. Monitor and direct the activities of temporary employees in the course of their daily activities. Perform weekly GEMBA Walks and BBS Audits.

Education And/or Experience
- Candidates should have 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing organization in a team-leading role.
- Production or Packaging Specialist desired.
- Prior packing experience.
