Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
  • Perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that uphold plant safety and equipment integrity.
  • Monitor process performance and adjust operational parameters to maintain reliability, quality, and efficiency.
  • Adhere to company, customer, and regulatory safety work policies while reporting all incidents promptly.
  • Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process condition data to strengthen proactive maintenance decisions.
  • Oversee contractors performing routine and non-routine work to ensure safety compliance and quality execution.
  • Execute lock-out tag-out procedures and recommend improvements that enhance process availability and overall reliability.

Requirements

  • Experience operating production processes and systems in an industrial environment with a strong commitment to safety.
  • Proficiency in mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with control systems and HMI platforms, including Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens.
  • Ability to read and revise engineering drawings, including P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
  • Experience safely operating forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms in accordance with established procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for documentation, reporting, and data management.
