Responsibilities
- Safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant to ensure reliable and efficient performance.
- Perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs that uphold plant safety and equipment integrity.
- Monitor process performance and adjust operational parameters to maintain reliability, quality, and efficiency.
- Adhere to company, customer, and regulatory safety work policies while reporting all incidents promptly.
- Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process condition data to strengthen proactive maintenance decisions.
- Oversee contractors performing routine and non-routine work to ensure safety compliance and quality execution.
- Execute lock-out tag-out procedures and recommend improvements that enhance process availability and overall reliability.
Requirements
- Experience operating production processes and systems in an industrial environment with a strong commitment to safety.
- Proficiency in mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation.
- Familiarity with control systems and HMI platforms, including Wonderware, Rockwell, and Siemens.
- Ability to read and revise engineering drawings, including P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Experience safely operating forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms in accordance with established procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook for documentation, reporting, and data management.
