Lead Operations

About the Role

As part of The Freeman Company, Event & Exhibit Services designs and delivers unforgettable moments that create a bond between audiences and our clients. This position supports our Event & Exhibit Services team and follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign duties.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Produce production schedules, labor budgets, and estimate worker hours required for job completion.
• Perform and supervise duties such as loading and unloading equipment, marking floors, setting up service areas, meeting rooms, offices, hanging drape and booth signs, and setting up boneyard.
• Supervise and dispatch all work performed.
• Perform activities of workers supervised.
• Ensure all equipment is returned to the warehouse and broken or damaged equipment is tagged for repair.
• Maintain consistently acceptable job cost.
• Plan daily production schedules and assign standby labor as necessary.
• Maintain time and production records.
• Estimate, requisition, and inspect materials.
• Establish and maintain an orderly, efficient, and secure boneyard.
• Maintain communication with the Account Executive and the Service Desk, and advise of any problems that may affect operations.
• Produce trade shows on the 1000–1500 booth level.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of trade show, warehouse operations, and/or related experience.
• Proficiency with office software applications including email, Microsoft Word, Excel, TSS, and Concierge Elite.
• Ability to complete online reports, printing, posting, running inquiries, and data entry.

Travel

Travel up to 25%.
