About the role

Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologists are required to perform complex diagnostic procedures using radioactive tracers to diagnose various medical conditions. This role involves interpreting images and results, communicating findings to physicians, and ensuring patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Interpret diagnostic images and communicate findings to referring physicians
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
  • Document patient information and procedure details in medical records
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current license to practice as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in state of employment
  • Experience in performing nuclear medicine procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of nuclear medicine equipment and techniques
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in computer systems, including PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems)

Skills

  • Proficiency in English
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Ability to handle stress and maintain composure under pressure

Pay

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends.
