Cardiac PET CT Technologist

About the Role

PET CT Technologists perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scans, and diagnostic CT procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. They prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate advanced imaging equipment, and process images for interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nuclear medicine, PET, and CT procedures
• Perform quality control and maintain records per regulations
• Ensure safety protocols are followed
• Perform venipuncture and calculate dosages
• Assist with therapeutic radioactive materials
• Participate in safety and process improvement activities

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program
• Current certifications: CNMT and/or ARRT
• Florida license as a Nuclear Medicine and CT Technologist
• BLS certification

Skills

• Knowledge of nuclear medicine, PET, and CT procedures
• Proficiency in radiation safety and equipment operation
• Strong professional judgment and attention to detail
