Lead .Net Developer with Retail Banking Platforms

This role is with a premium client through IT Engagements, a global staff augmentation firm providing talent on-demand and workforce solutions. 100% remote from EST or CST time zones only.

About the role

Seeking a hands-on Retail Banking Platform Lead who can lead business analysts and developers, make technical and design decisions, manage vendors, and own production releases and cutovers.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and technical direction for retail banking platform initiatives.
• Act as the escalation point for BAs, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Own design and solution decisions and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Manage software vendors, including defect escalation, releases, and roadmap priorities.
• Plan and execute production releases and cutovers, including rollback planning.
• Partner directly with banking business users and client stakeholders.
• Provide leadership across Consumer Lending, Teller/Payments, and Sales & Service domains.

Requirements

• 14 years of hands-on experience (profiles with less than 14 years will not be considered).
• Hands-on leadership experience with retail banking platforms.
• Strong experience leading business analysts and development teams.
• Proven ownership of design and solution decisions.
• Software vendor management experience.
• Production release and cutover experience within a banking environment.
• Deep expertise in at least one retail banking domain (Consumer Lending, Teller/Payments, or Sales & Service) with working knowledge of the others.
• Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Visa status: H1B, H4EAD, or US citizenship (no other visas accepted).

Skills

• Strong .NET and SQL Server knowledge.
• Azure experience.
• Consulting or vendor-side delivery experience.
• Preferred: Argo experience.
• Preferred: Merger or core conversion leadership.

Contract duration: 12 months. Interview process includes a video call.
