Lead Nail Technician

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nail care and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel applications and nail enhancements, foot soaks.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and preferences.
• Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client experience and meet sales goals.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and techniques to provide clients with the best options available.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their desired outcomes and aftercare instructions.
• Assist with body waxing services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive beauty experience for clients.
• - Communicating with Director for inventory needs, assisting with required training of other Nail Techs, and serving as the license anchor for all nail services.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or equivalent and/or 1-year experience in a spa or related field preferred.
• At least 1-year retail experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required.

Skills

• Proficient in various nail care techniques and treatments.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Experience in retail sales, particularly in beauty or personal care products, is a plus.
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations related to nail services.
• Ability to upsell services and products effectively while maintaining a positive client relationship.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to ensure clear understanding with clients.
