Lead Multiskilled Technician IV

Amentum is seeking a skilled technician to join our team in Waukesha, WI.

About the role

In this position, you will respond to work orders, troubleshoot, and provide preventive and corrective maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment on production-related systems, including pumps, motors, PLC and CNC machinery, robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and coolant systems. You will communicate with your team and customers to solve complex electrical and mechanical problems, identify and correct safety-related issues, and perform independent equipment evaluations to prevent potential failures.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Perform quality control checks on products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Operate various production machines and tools.
• Maintain accurate records of production processes and results.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or demonstrated equivalent.
• Five to seven years of experience performing electrical and mechanical maintenance on industrial manufacturing process or production equipment, or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in an aerial lift or scissor lift at heights up to 30 feet or higher.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as pumps, bearings, blowers, fans, gearboxes, air handlers, and related equipment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check to obtain a security badge at our client's location.
• This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm. Schedule may be subject to change based on business demands. This position may require various shifts, weekends, alternative work schedules, overtime, holidays, and weekend work as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly climb ladders and stairs.
• Flexibility to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, and move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during the shift.

Pay

Hourly range: $30 - $38 per hour.
