As a Multiskilled Technician you will join a team dedicated to making communities healthier. The hospital is the Tri‑State area’s newest facility, drawing on decades of experience and over 100 years of heritage. It serves Bullhead City, AZ; Laughlin, NV; and Needles, CA, and is located in Ft. Mohave, a suburb of Bullhead City, several miles east of the point where Arizona, Nevada and California meet along the Colorado River. Valley View opened in November 2005 as a 102,000‑sq‑ft acute‑care campus and has grown to a 126,000‑sq‑ft state‑of‑the‑art hospital with 52 medical/surgical beds, 12 acute rehabilitation beds, 12 intensive care beds, an eight‑bed labor/delivery/post‑partum unit, a 16‑bed emergency department, six operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, a cardiac catheterization unit, full digital imaging (including PET‑CT), and a PACS system. The facility offers nearly 30 medical specializations, combining big‑city technology with a personal touch.
Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of a healthcare provider, performs a variety of basic patient care activities.
- Performs basic patient care activities as delegated, including monitoring vital signs, taking blood glucose measurements, and recording intake and output.
- Assists patients with personal care and activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
- Reports abnormal assessment findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
- Performs clerical duties aligned with nursing station activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
