About the role
At our practice, we're seeking a purpose-driven individual with a passion for helping others. Our Lead Medical Assistants play a vital role in patient care, blending clinical expertise, compassion, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Provide the best patient experience by warmly welcoming patients and prepping them for their visit, as well as answering care-related questions.
- Support hands-on patient care by assisting during procedures, capturing detailed visit notes, fulfilling prescription orders, and other tasks to ensure appointments are smooth and complete.
- Keep the clinic running smoothly by managing supplies, maintaining equipment, understanding the flow of exam rooms, and finding creative ways to work more efficiently.
- Be a reliable teammate by offering help, keeping things organized, and fostering a positive, supportive environment.

Qualifications/Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Successful completion of a state-approved Medical Assistant program.
- Employers may consider applicants based on extensive experience (unless required by state law).

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
The Medical office, procedure/exam room, and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards, or toxic substances. Daily activities may involve standing, walking, sitting, bending, and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
