Lead Medical Assistant

Job Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, administer injections, collect specimens, draw blood, and conduct diagnostic tests.
• Discuss symptoms with patients and input information into electronic medical records.
• Sterilize and clean equipment and maintain examination rooms.
• Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses.
• Deliver direct patient care within scope of active certification.
• Lead and coordinate advanced administrative and operational processes.
• Maintain schedules and goals and oversee work of others.

Requirements

• Hold current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant through one of the recognized organizations.
• Experience with phlebotomy.
• Experience with medication and vaccine administration.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a clinical setting.
• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Pass TB screening.

Preferred

• 3+ years MA experience in PCO center.
• Knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Pay Range

The compensation range for this position is $48,300 - $65,900 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
