Lead Medical Assistant
Job Responsibilities
- Take vital signs, administer injections, collect specimens, draw blood, and conduct diagnostic tests.
- Discuss symptoms with patients and input information into electronic medical records.
- Sterilize and clean equipment and maintain examination rooms.
- Collaborate with Physicians and Nurses.
- Deliver direct patient care within scope of active certification.
- Lead and coordinate advanced administrative and operational processes.
- Maintain schedules and goals and oversee work of others.
Requirements
- Hold current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant through one of the recognized organizations.
- Experience with phlebotomy.
- Experience with medication and vaccine administration.
- 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a clinical setting.
- Minimum of 3 years of Medical Assistant experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Pass TB screening.
Preferred
- 3+ years MA experience in PCO center.
- Knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Pay Range
The compensation range for this position is $48,300 - $65,900 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
