Lead MDM Analyst
Responsibilities
The Lead MDM Analyst is a senior individual contributor with hands-on ownership of Master Data Management (MDM) platform execution across enterprise master data domains. Reporting to the Manager of Data Management, this role is responsible for technically configuring, and operating MDM capabilities, translating business-defined master data rules into scalable technical implementations, and ensuring consistent, high-quality mastered data across systems.
- Own and execute MDM configurations across master data domains, including match-and-merge logic, survivorship rules, golden record behavior, hierarchies, and reference data relationships.
- Translate approved business master data rules into robust, scalable MDM implementations, making technical design decisions that balance data quality, performance, and operational impact.
- Serve as the technical authority for MDM execution, providing guidance and oversight for configurations, changes, and domain expansions.
- Configure and maintain domain data models and ensure consistent application of standards across regions and source systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data management, Master Data Management, data quality, or related domains.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica MDM, Informatica IDMC).
- Hands-on experience with master data domains match-and-merge logic, survivorship rules, golden record behavior, hierarchies, and reference data relationships.
- Working knowledge of data governance, stewardship workflows, and metadata concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or certification such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or equivalent.
- Informatica IDMC MDM Certification or Advance Cloud Data Management Certification.
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or sustainability-focused organizations.
- Familiarity with privacy and compliance concepts as they relate to master data domains.
